Google ships Gemini 3.7 Flash at half the 3.6 Flash launch price
Three weeks after 3.6 Flash, Google called 3.7 its most capable Flash workhorse for coding and agents. Introductory API pricing is $0.75 / $3.75 per million tokens through December 31.

On August 13 Google introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash. The company described it as a refinement of 3.6 with algorithmic changes to the reasoning foundation — not a new pretraining run — aimed at software engineering, knowledge work, and web development.
Price and access
Introductory API pricing is $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens through December 31, 2026 — half the original 3.6 Flash list rate. On January 1, 2027 the rate becomes $1.50 / $7.50. The model is on the Gemini API via Google AI Studio and Android Studio, in Google Antigravity, in Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and the Gemini Enterprise app, and in Spark for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries.
What Google published about the model
The model card lists a 1 million-token context window, up to 64K output tokens, text/image/audio/video input, thinking levels of low, medium (default), and high, and a March 2026 knowledge cutoff. Google said Spark will use 3.7 Flash for Workspace tool use. There are no open weights.
- API id: gemini-3.7-flash
- Intro price ends December 31, 2026
- Google’s own table still has GPT-5.6 Terra ahead on some agent benches
Takeaways
- This is a Flash-tier drop, not a new Gemini 3 base model
- The headline change versus 3.6 Flash is price plus coding/agent scores
- Self-hosting is not on offer
