Google lets you tune Discover in your own words
Google is adding a way to describe Discover preferences in plain language from a three-dot menu in the Google app. Publishers also get a Preferred Sources button that already covers more than 600,000 unique sources.

On August 20, 2026, Google said it is rolling out new personalization across Search, Discover, and Google News. In the coming days in the Google app, users will be able to open a three-dot menu in the Discover feed and say, in their own words, what they want more or less of.
