Description
HOOKS is a creative studio founded by experienced professionals and leading investors from the game development industry.
The studio is looking for an Unreal Engine specialist to assemble cutscenes and dialogue scenes for a new AAA science-fiction game. You will collaborate with producers and directors, build cinematic sequences, improve production workflows, and support other departments with technical solutions. A relevant portfolio is required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with producers and directors to create mise-en-scène, dialogue scenes, and cutscenes
- Assemble cinematic sequences for an AAA game in Unreal Engine
- Set up cameras, composition, character placement, and scene flow
- Automate repetitive production tasks
- Help other departments accelerate and simplify their workflows
- Create documentation for production processes
- Document research findings and technical solutions
- Collaborate with artists, producers, directors, and technical specialists
Required Skills
- At least 1 year of experience working with Blueprints
- Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine
- At least 1 year of experience in 3D cinematic production
- Programming skills in Blueprints, Python, C Sharp, or C++
- Strong camera and composition skills
- Relevant cinematic portfolio
- Ability to read and write technical documentation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to complete a test task when the portfolio does not contain relevant work
Nice to Have
- Portfolio experience with in-game cinematics and dialogue scenes
- Knowledge of additional 3D software
- Experience working with GitHub
