Software Development Engineer in Test

Vacancy: Software Development Engineer in Test | Java QA Automation Engineer

Company: International Finance Broker

Employment contract: remote working, outside Russia | fulltime

Salary: up to 5000 usd per month net

Project: Crypto payment platform

Stack: Java, Selenium, Selenide, TestNG, REST API, HTTP/HTTPS, Maven, Gradle, Gitlab CI/CD, Docker

Will do

• To coordinate and resolve bugs reported by clients, account managers, and technical support teams, and implement additional testing practices to prevent bugs in production code;
• To develop and maintain UI, API, and performance automation tests;
• To improve the department’s automation framework, CI/CD processes, documentation, reporting, and other testing technologies;
• To evaluate quality standards, norms, and procedures, and participate in the development and implementation of quality gates;
• To analyze and interpret test reports to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.

Required

• Strong knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies;
• From 5 years in QA Automation, with a minimum of 3 years of experience using Java.
• Strong expertise in REST APIs, with hands-on experience in developing automation tests for HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Proficient in using Selenium/Selenide for UI testing.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices;
• Languages: Russian B2/Native and English B2+.

Preferably

• Solid understanding of security testing practices;
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with TestNG, Maven, and Docker;
• Experience with Gatling for performance testing;
• Familiar with GitLab CI/CD and experienced in configuring quality gates.
